I guess the subject says it all.

Spamming has been an ongoing problem for me - I regard it as a social
problem rather than a technical one, and I have real trouble with the
idea of trying to enforce a rather nebulous social position through
technical modifications to Pegasus Mail.

Having said that, I really have no doubt at all that people who SUPPLY
Pegasus Mail for this purposes are lower life forms than the cockroach.
Accordingly, I have just banned the supply of Pegasus Mail as part of
any bulk-mail product.

My threat of legal action is not empty: if you become aware in the course
of supporting Pegasus Mail that someone is breaching this ban, please
send me the relevant details and I will pass them on to my lawyers. I am
very unhappy about this misuse of my product and intend to see it stop:
even if I can't necessarily stop specific individuals who have
legitimately obtained the software through other channels from using it
for mass-mailing, I see no way that I can permit people to line their own
pockets at my expense for this purpose.
